REE Prospectivity

A private Mining Intelligence screening model that identifies regions where the available geological evidence is comparatively more favourable for rare-earth investigation — a carbonatite- and alkaline-related fertility prior, published as a sealed research campaign. Prospectivity is not probability, a target zone is not a deposit, and a score is not a chance of discovery.

Which part of GeaSpirit produced this

This page publishes the aggregate result of a campaign run by GeaSpirit's Mineral Prospectivity engine — a weights-of-evidence model that learns, from known mineral occurrences, how strongly each geological control predicts a deposit, and reports each layer's learned contrast so the reasoning can be inspected rather than trusted. The REE campaign is one model inside that engine: a carbonatite- and alkaline-related fertility prior.

The ranking itself is computed, not chosen. Layers are loaded, variables derived, the model applied, regions ordered, and targets and controls selected by rule — then the whole set is hashed and time-stamped in one operation, so the same campaign can be recomputed and checked. What a person decides is which sources are scientifically admissible, how the model is defined, and whether a campaign is published at all. Nobody picks individual targets by hand; that would destroy the only thing a sealed campaign is for.

Exact coordinates and scores for all 100 campaign elements, the rank of each prospective target, and the evidence classes present or absent behind each element stay in Private Intelligence while the campaign is unresolved. The campaign also records the evidence still missing to advance each element; counter-evidence was not recorded, because nothing has been resolved. The public layer is deliberately aggregate: releasing the targets would also release the experiment.

This is a relative regional rank, not a reserve, grade, tonnage or probability of a deposit. It does not claim that rare earths are present at any place. It only points to regions that deserve scientific attention.

The v0.4 prospective campaign is sealed and unresolved. Its full contents were committed before publication and sealed and time-stamped before publication, so the ranking cannot be altered after the fact.
